CRS4 starts the collaboration with the Fiat Research Center for the design of Fuel Cells for the power supply of electric cars. Thanks to the results achieved, CRS4 has become the reference center for modeling at national level in this field and continued in the years following, with the participation in projects funded by the Ministry of Research.
The research work was lead by Bruno D'Aguanno (now professor at the Centre for Nanotechnology Research of VIT: Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu, India) and his group: Detlef Hofmann, Liudmila Kuleshova, Giovanni Murgia, Lorenzo Pisani, Maria Valentini.
