CRS4 is continuing with the process of adjusting its workforce that began in 2019, hiring 16 researchers and technologists who were previously on temporary employment, in order to take on the challenges that the Centre will face in future research projects and activities at regional, national and international level.
Giacomo Cao, CRS4's sole administrator, said: "I am particularly pleased to have resolved, in agreement with the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and, in particular, assessor Giuseppe Fasolino, as well as with the significant contribution of our stakeholder Sardegna Ricerche, the long-standing problem of precarious workers. The additional resources allocated by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia have enabled us, with the support of the RSU and Fiom-Cgil, to achieve this important goal".
Sardegna Ricerche's Director-General, Maria Assunta Serra, also expressed her satisfaction, emphasising that: "human resources are the most valuable asset of a company, especially if trained through years of work, study and experience. The process that has now been successfully completed consolidates the skills and value of the entire Science and Technology Park of Sardinia.
