The Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) coordinates the main international actors, clinicians and technicians through the definition of guidelines for clinical systems integration. Connectathon is one of the most important IHE events, since the various editions (European, North American, Japanese) represent an important opportunity for participants to verify the conformance of clinical systems to the IHE technical profiles, which are defined based on the analysis of real use cases from each of the main clinical domains (Radiology, Laboratory, Cardiology, Pharmacy, etc). The European Connectathon, planned for the week of April 11th-15th, will connect more than 120 systems and subject them to thousands of tests to demonstrate their compliance to the IHE profiles. CRS4's Alessandro Sulis, from Healthcare Flows Program, will be part of the tests verification team, continuing CRS4's contribution to the IHE consortium activities.
