CRS4's sequencing platform provides a significant contribution to the successful execution of the study published on Science Magazine entitled "Low-pass DNA sequencing of 1200 Sardinians reconstructs European Y-chromosome phylogeny" (among the authors: Rossano Atzeni, Riccardo Berutti, Chris Jones, Frederic Reinier, Ilenia Zara) due of its expertise and facilities.
Then in 2015 a new result achieved, thanks to the combination between the researchers' skills and the facilities available to the CRS4: a publication on Nature Genetics, entitled "Genome sequencing elucidates Sardinian genetic architecture and augments association analyses for lipid and blood inflammatory markers" (among authors: Rossano Atzeni, Riccardo Berutti, Chris Jones, Frederic Reinier).
