The project proposes the creation of a software platform characterized by aspects of social interaction between users through trust rank mechanisms for the measurement of user and resource links. The platform, based on the social correlation engine AVIC, provides for its evolution by means of the study of issues related to Social Networking, the integration with open-source Knowledge Management Systems for the unified management of corporate knowledge, the introduction of of the semantic Web technology to improve the quality of research and of the correlation between documents and users. An important role will have also the semantic analysis of textual content, supported by advanced techniques of analysis of visual information in documents. The adopted technologies cover the syntactic and semantic analysis of texts, statistical and linguistic classification models, Opinion Mining and the study of domain ontologies.
