Omar Schiaratura has worked as an IT consultant since 1999. In 2003 he received the M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Bologna. From 2003 to 2005 he has worked for the same University, in the fields of CAD, medical imaging support and 3D application support. He is a co-founder of RacoonLab ltd., a company that works on proximity networking. Since 2007, he has been with CRS4 as a software engineer, working at first on parallel and distributed computing and resource virtualization, then on environment and satellite data analysis and bioinformatics. In November 2021 takes is bachelor degree in sport science and discuss is thesis about biomecanichs. Since 2021 is a student at faculty of Biology and Pharmacy at Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
