Simone Leo holds a five-year degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cagliari and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the same university. From 2003 to 2006 he has worked in the private sector as a system administrator. Since 2006 he has been working at CRS4 as a software engineer and, from 2008, as a researcher. His research interests are mainly focused on distributed computing models, with an emphasis on their applicability to computational biology.
