The school entitled "Big data: acquisition, treatment and statistical methods of analysis" is structured in two modules: Introductory (May 15-17, 2019) and Advanced (May 20-22, 2019), aimed at students, professionals, employees of businesses and public administrations and citizens who want to deepen the issues of urban computing and develop solutions to improve the life in the city.
The school is the first of three training events on the trans-disciplinary field of Urban Computing, organized in Cagliari by the TDM project. During the three editions of the school, the discipline of Urban Informatics will be declined on the themes of Big Data (2019), Visual Computing (2020) and Smart Grids (2021), respectively.
TDM is a collaborative project between CRS4 and the University of Cagliari, funded by the regional agency Sardegna Ricerche on the POR FESR 2014-2020, Azione 1.2.2.
