SENDER: international EU project for innovative energy service applications

CRS4 participates in the international project “SENDER”, Sustainable consumer engagement and demand response, funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme, under the Grant Agreement n. 957755, which amounts to 6.750.000 Euros, with 15 organisations from: Austria, Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Spain and Norway.
In the next 48 months, the goal will be to develop and test the next generation of energy services by directly engaging consumers in the definition of technologies that will improve the management of energy exchanges through the network.
CRS4 will develop a probabilistic forecast tool for consumption and energy production from renewable sources, able to predict the flexibility of individual users' domestic consumption.
