The first meeting of the Italian Space Agency's (ASI) Virtual District, organized with the support of CRS4 and DASS (Aerospace District of Sardinia), was held today at the conference room of the Cagliari INAF-OAC Astronomical Observatory.
The meeting, which will be replicated in Rome, Milan and Trieste, aimed to inform companies interested or involved in the aerospace sector, of the existence of ASI's virtual platform, to review technological competencies and current trends, in order to broaden the participation of more players in the space sector.
Speakers at the event included Giorgio Angius, deputy mayor of Cagliari; Giacomo Cao, sole administrator of CRS4 and president of DASS; Emilio Molinari, director of the Cagliari Astronomical Observatory; Giacomo Sciortino, manager of the ASI virtual district; and remotely, Fabrizio Tosone, ASI general manager, among others.
