CRS4 is a founding member of the 'National Center for High Performance Computing, Big data and Quantum computing.' The National Center is composed of 51 public and private partners from scientific research and industry, and will be funded with 320 million euros from Next Generation EU funds under the Education and Research Mission of the PNRR coordinated by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR), to implement an infrastructure to support the main strategic sectors for the Country.
Giacomo Cao, sole administrator of CRS4, emphasizes:
"We are particularly pleased to be involved in the birth of the National Research Center in HPC, big data and quantum computing. CRS4 will direct its knowledge and expertise toward digital society and smart cities."
