CRS4 and TOLO Green, a company operating in the field of renewable energy and microalgae, have signed a collaboration agreement for the experimentation and definition of cultivation techniques for microalgae such as Dunaliella, Haematococcus and Spirulina.
The partners will share their expertise for the activities of the production plant in Arborea (OR) and for the one that will be exposed for 6 months, starting from October 1, 2021, in the Italian pavilion at the EXPO in Dubai, where TOLO Green is a technical partner.
CRS4 will optimize the quality and maximize the production of spirulina in the production plant in Arborea (OR), and will also experiment with innovative cultivation techniques, even in the absence of gravity, which may be used on future missions for deep space exploration.
