On Monday 27th April, at 5:00pm, Paolo Russo will hold a webinar on the theme of Augmented Reality in cultural environments.
The webinar is organized by the Educational Technology group of CRS4, as part of the IDEA project activities. The objective of above mentioned project is to promote the use of experiment digital technologies in sardininan lower and upper secondary schools.
Paolo Russo will present the successful case of the Meseater of the "Giostra della Quintina" of Foligno and its two spin-offs: the "Europa Square Challenge" in Europe and the "Hostel Project" in Cagliari.
Both are actual cases of the use of Augmented Reality to stimulate young people to understand both their cultural origin and the true nature of digital technology, using the "Crowddreaming" method together with the conceptual challenge of "Digital monument".
Paolo Russo is a mathematician specialized in quantum physics. He is the General Secretary of the "Stati Generali dell'Innovazione" association and President of the volunteer organization "CRHACK LAB FOLIGNO 4D".
For the "Stati Generali dell'Innovazione" he pays special attention to the development of digital culture in schools both in Italy and in Europe. Creator of the "Crowddreaming" method and of its operational model "Digital Monument", considered as good practice by the European Commission. "Digital Monument" is presently used in an upscaling version to European level "Crowddreaming: Youth co-create Digital Culture".
As president of "CRHACK LAB FOLIGNO 4D", he promotes the research of the "non existing crafts in the invisible city" and their teaching to young people aged 15-25. The scope is to foresee the changes of existing trades and the birth of new ones in the context of the invisible digital cities that bring together the world's creative community, to transfer today the digital skills that will be requested tomorrow when they will enter the labour market.
