On 18 October, during the week that Italy EXPO 2020 is dedicating to Aerospace, CRS4 is taking part in the "SPACE 4 SUSTAINABILITY - Research, design and technologies for and from space" forum.
At the forum - organised by AVIO, a leading company in space propulsion - together with astronaut Luca Parmitano, innovators and scientific personalities will discuss the most significant implications of space exploration on sustainability, health and well-being, and safety. From the new food for astronauts, to the potential of space technology applied to fashion and design. The event highlights the fundamental connections between the multidisciplinary skills of the space economy, one of the most promising development trajectories in the world economy.
The forum will be held in the amphitheatre of the Italian Pavilion in Dubai, starting at 16.00 local time (14.00 Italian time).
Giacomo Cao, CEO of CRS4, will speak in the talk session together with Gilberto Gabrielli, CEO and founder of Tolo Green; David Avino, CEO of Argotec; and Livia Visai Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Pavia. The speeches will be moderated by journalist Emilio Cozzi.
