CRS4, under the National Program "Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro”, is hosting three students from the Liceo Scientifico "Pacinotti" in Cagliari (Loris Deplano, Giacomo Secci e Luca Giovanni Serpi, all taught by Graziano Melis) for a week-long educational internship. The students, supervised by Mauro Del Rio and Vittorio Meloni (researchers in the CRS4's Data-intensive Computing group) will complete a training course on the topics of Augmented Reality and Internet of Things (IoT) in the context of telemedicine. During their hands-on sessions, the students will be guided in the creation of a simple Augmented Reality system for Android, starting from a set of components prepared by the researchers. The system reads patient data from biometric sensors connected to a Raspberry Pi and transmits them to a mobile device, where they are visualized in Augmented Reality.
Description of the internship activities will be made available on the following site: alternanzascuolalavoro.crs4.it
