"Mobile technologies for multimedia applications" is the title of the free course organized by Healthcare Flow, Research Program at CRS4, for Project MOST (Moving research Outcomes to Standard Telemedicine Practice).
Objectives: the course is about the use and the integration in Android applications of software libraries dedicated to VOIP session and A/V streams.
Course structure: 8 hours, divided in a theoretical session in the morning and a practical session in the afternoon.
Theoretical session requirements: Java language basic knowledge is required, Android platform basic knowledge is recommended.
Practical session requirements: Linux basic knowledge is required, Eclipse IDE basic knowledge is recommended.
Date: Thursday 18th June at 9:00 AM.
Place: T Hotel in Cagliari.
Registration: free, at event site.
Hardware: For the practical session it's necessary a laptop, where the attendees have to install Eclipse IDE (with Android Development Tools plugin and, from SDK manager, API 20) and the virtual machine that the teacher will publish the week before the course. It's recommended to bring an Android device (v.4.0 or following) for example application development.
