Abstract
Interactive direct volume rendering and head motion tracking have been combined to build a medical imaging system that simulates a virtual holographic display. n this test case, an autoptic specimen of a human carotid artery is analyzed. All interactive sequences were recorede live on a SGI Onyx IR.
