The project involves the digitization of the shape and color of four new artifacts from the MONTEPRAMA sculpture complex. This digitization will cover the artifacts in their conservation state both before and after restoration, with the production of sub-millimeter resolution colored models. The models will be converted into the multi-resolution format, developed at CRS4, necessary for real-time visualization and integrated into the database and virtual exploration system, developed as well at CRS4 for the Digital Mont’e Prama project. Additionally, the final models will be processed and released to allow for a series of subsequent operations, not included in this offer, such as preparation for 3D printing
