The project intends to enhance and engineer a range of in-house technologies and with a sufficient maturity, in order to implement and promote a highly innovative service oriented framework of development (INNO) for the Web geomatics and the world of mobile applications (on Android platforms and more widespread). INNO aims to improve the scalability of applications, the usability of the data, the rendering of geographic data and to optimize geospatial data storage through ad hoc designed solutions (Cloud, HTML5, no-SQL, etc.). Some of the solutions proposed by INNO are suitable for a range of issues and disciplines that go beyond the purely environmental field.
