The project Argilla deals with a highly innovative framework for developing Web GIS applications and information systems, developed in Java according to the MVC (Model View Controller). Argilla is the software layer based on which services and custom applications, that meet specific needs, are built. This base layer represents an extensive container or a glue between different components: hardware and software technologies, alphanumeric databases, GIS visualisation tools and cartography.
