CRS4 is participating in Web3D 2025, the 30th ACM International Conference on 3D Web Technology, which will be held in Siena from September 9 to 10, 2025. The CRS4 contributions present solutions that mark an advancement in the state of the art in the capture, analysis, and immersive exploration of panoramic scenes and indoor environments, through the use of AI-based techniques.

On Tuesday, September 9, in the session dedicated to XR and VR Applications, Enrico Gobbetti and Giovanni Pintore, together with colleagues from HBKU, Qatar, will present an innovative solution to capture, edit, and stereoscopically explore panoramic images of indoor spaces. https://web3d.siggraph.org/2025/program/#session-3

Tukur, M., Jashari, S., Bettio, F., Pintore, G., Gobbetti, E., Schneider, J., Agus, M. PanoStyleVR: style-based similarity metrics for Web-based immersive panoramic style transfer. Web3D ’25: Proceedings of the 30th International Conference on 3D Web Technology. 2025. DOI: 10.1145/3746237.3746287

Also on Tuesday, September 9, Giovanni Pintore and Enrico Gobbetti, together with Marco Agus (HBKU, Qatar), will present an analysis of state-of-the-art AI techniques enabling the immersive exploration of indoor spaces from a single 360-degree photograph. https://web3d.siggraph.org/2025/program/#tutorial-1

Finally, on Wednesday, September 10, an industrial use case developed within the AIN2 project will be presented, showcasing the application of these techniques to create virtual tours:
