CRS4 has launched a collaboration with the Municipality of Pula and the “Pula Cultura Diffusa” Foundation to develop research and experimental activities focused on digital technologies for the enhancement of cultural heritage.

The agreement involves several cultural sites in the area, including the Nora Archaeological Park, which will serve as a testing environment for advanced digital systems developed by CRS4.

The activities will focus in particular on the development and validation of software tools for the management and exploration of historical and archaeological content, interactive systems for museum communication, and artificial intelligence applications for the dynamic generation of cultural content.

The project will also make it possible to experiment with techniques for the acquisition and digital modelling of the territory and archaeological sites, with the aim of developing three-dimensional models and digital platforms useful both for research and for new forms of cultural experience.

Spaces made available by the Municipality of Pula and the “Pula Cultura Diffusa” Foundation, including the visitor center and some archaeological excavation areas, will provide a testing environment for prototypes and technological solutions developed by the Centre.
