The objective of the DEPRIN project is to develop a research that combines the theoretical models underlying the documents management tools (Document Management Systems, Business Process Management and Business Intelligence, Enterprise Resource Planning, etc..) with the existing identification, tracking, and location tools (from Radio-frequency identification (RFID) to mobile phones).The scope of the industrial research project is to realize an “information management tool”. This product will enable the combined management of all the methods/procedures involved in control interaction instances and tracking of physical objects. It will allow, through the use of a single “dashboard/instrument panel”, to link devices for both acquisition of information and remote controls, by a normalized layer of connection, by means of the tools offered by the extended architecture of the solution, i.e. the semantic platform, the business process management tools, the business intelligence ones, and so on. The role of CRS4 is to support the deployment of the project’s use cases by means of its know how and technologies, in line with the market needs.
