The project aims at a technological upgrade of the current power consumption measurement devices produced, used and sold on the market by Ener.Med. and their software applications, with the aim of obtaining a device that in addition to the advanced metering capabilities can also be a Base Station for interfacing IoT devices.
With a view to extending the connection capabilities of the Smart Meter, it will be studied the interfacing of TECHUS devices to the data collection and processing system developed by CRS4 as part of the Tessuto Digitale Metropolitano (Metropolitan Digital Fabric) project, which aims to create a network of sensors widespread in the metropolitan area of Cagliari.
