POSITION : Senior Researcher Since 1991, Lorenzo Pisani works as researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies, Research, and Development in Sardinia (CRS4). He holds a Laurea (M.Sc.) degree in Physics (1990) from the University of Pisa, Italy and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Physics (1997) from the University of Strasbourg, France. During his research activity, he has developed physical models and numerical simulation codes in various fields, including: i) effects of relativity and electronic correlation on the chemistry of atoms and molecules, ii) propagation and scattering of electromagnetic wave, and iii) low temperature and high temperature fuel cells – fuel cells materials. He served as reviewer for the main journals in the field of fuel cells and taught advanced courses on masters and summer schools.
