Maurizio Pintus received the M. Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Cagliari in 2010. He then worked for a few years as analyst and developer, in particular in the development of Salesforce and iOS applications. In 2014 he joined the Digital Media Applications group at CRS4, working initially on automatic people recognition in videos within the ACTIVE project. He is currently working on image and video classification and content based retrieval.
