Abstract

The project aims at setting up and maintaining a laboratory for carrying out computer aided design and numerical simulation research activities in the biomedical and engineering domains. Research and technological development activities are focused on: virtual environments for the analysis of volumetric data; geometric and physical prototyping of vascular datasets; compressible and incompressible fluid--dynamics; structural integrity analysis; fluid-structure interaction.
