Abstract
This videotape illustrates our approach for introducing smooth level-of-detail control and time-critical rendering in the context of VRML. The approach relies upon a scene description in which objects are represented as multiresolution meshes stored using our TOM data structure. The rendering engine uses a feedback technique to adapt object resolution as a function of timing constraints.
