Carlo Podda

After studying Computer Science at the University of Cagliari, in 1999 joined CRS4 as a technologist. Initially he worked as general purpose technologist, using all Unix systems (IBM AIX, HP UX, SGE IRIX, SUN Solaris / SunOS), Microsoft Windows systems and Linux. In 2008 became the Area Head of the CRS4 HPC Area, with responsibilities over Linux clusters with several thousand cores, all CRS4s HPC related projects and customer relationships. He was responsible for the HPC technical papers and documentation tenders and participated as internal commissary for the evaluation of other tenders. Since the end of 2020 he enthusiastically joins to the newly created Quantum Computing Group. His actual principal interest are the development of quantum multiplatform software tools.
