ICSC FOUNDATION
National Research Center in High Performance Computing, Big Data and Quantum Computing
The ICSC foundation, formed in July 2022, was established to manage the National Research Center in High Performance Computing, Big Data and Quantum Computing, funded by the Ministry of University and Research through PNRR funds. The Foundation has 51 founding members spread throughout the country, both public and private, from the world of scientific research and industry. The new National Center, which will become fully operational from September 2022, will network and systematize the specific knowledge, skills and resources of entities operating throughout Italy in multiple fields, with the aim of building a distributed and cross-cutting infrastructure that supports scientific research and the productive world in the innovation and digitalization of the country. Sardinia AeroSpace District

Distretto AeroSpaziale della Sardegna (DASS) is a limited liability consortium company incorporated on October 15, 2013 and currently owned by five public and twenty-four private Members holding a share capital of 95112 Euros (i.v.) The Company has a consortium, mutualistic and nonprofit purpose and cannot, therefore, distribute profits to the Members which, if produced, must be reinvested in research, development, training and dissemination activities. The purpose of DASS is to undertake suitable initiatives for the development, in the Region of Sardinia, of an aerospace technology district. The Society also aims to support, through its scientific and technological expertise, the attractiveness of investments in high-tech productive sectors, to contribute to the strengthening of the technical and scientific skills of its Members, and to strengthen the Sardinian regional, national and international research system.

Specifically, DASS, unique among Italian aerospace districts, owns 100 percent of the rights to the patent families whose references follow:

ITS ENERGY EFFICIENCY FOUNDATION SARDINIA
Energy Efficiency Technical College Sardinia Foundation

The Fondazione Istituto Tecnico Superiore Efficienza Energetica Sardegna was founded in Macomer in 2010 and is the first ITS authorized to operate in the Region of Sardinia.
To date, it has 10 two-year courses completed, 7 in operation and 5 starting for the 2021/2023 training offer, for a total of more than 100 graduates.
Initially operating only in the territory of Macomer, since 2018 the Foundation has started and concluded courses in different areas of the region, seeking to have a widespread presence throughout the territory, allowing young residents of the island, to be able to specialize in the branch of energy efficiency.
