On April 21 and 22, 2026, CRS4 and E4 Computer Engineering will host the workshop “Shaping Italy’s Q-HPC Future,” dedicated to quantum computing and high-performance computing (HPC), to be held at Parco Scientifico e Tecnologico della Sardegna. The event is organized in collaboration with the regional offices of CINI, CINECA, Fondazione LINKS, AQI with logistical and operational support from Sardegna Ricerche

The Meeting

The workshop is designed as an opportunity for synthesis and discussion among key players
in academic research and industrial partners. The goal is to consolidate the Italian roadmap for Quantum and High Performance Computing.

The Venue

Venue and logistics

The workshop will take place at Building 2 in the Science and Technology Park in Pula, about 35 km southwest of Cagliari.

For logistical reasons, we strongly recommend choosing a hotel in the centre of Pula.

How to Get to the Venue

The town of Pula is easily accessible from Cagliari-Elmas Airport and the city of Cagliari:

By car: about 40–45 minutes along the SS195.

By shuttle bus: see the schedule below.

By public transportation: regular bus service between Cagliari and Pula throughout the day.
