The Smart Beach project aims to offer new services to citizens and in general to users of the Poetto beach in Cagliari, using a LPWAN (Low Power Wide-Area Network) infrastructure. The services concern: visitors detection on the beach; parKing area monitoring; booking and payment of services (beach umbrellas, sun beds, sports equipement, etc.) by an e-wallet system via waterproof bracelet or smartphone; bathers (children, elderly) tracking; a floating buoys system for weather conditions detection
