Senior researcher (CRS4 Dissemination Office). From 1996 to 2007, he worked in the Information Society sector (1996 to 1998: computer literacy courses for schools in Sardinia, “Internet, advice for users”; from 1999 to 2001, IT literacy activities, “Sardegna 2000”; in 2000, he was part of the Scientific Committee for the “Elia 2000” IT literacy course (conceived and funded by the Municipality of Cagliari) aimed at primary school children in the Sant’Elia quarter; from 2007 to 2011, he was a researcher on the Renewable Energy program (he designed and coordinated a series of training courses funded by the Ministry of Research; he was involved in outreach activities with primary schools on the subject of energy); from 2011 to 2020, he was Head of the Communications Office (in 2018 and 2019, he coordinated the traveling outreach project “Lab Boat”; from 2016 to 2019, he organized training for secondary school pupils in Sardinia as part of the Asimov Prize); from 2020 to 2023, he was a researcher in the Quantum Computing group; since 2023, he has been head of the Outreach Office (outreach activities with children); research into STEAM education. Since 2003, he has been a member of the CRS4 Emergency Team, holding the following qualifications: Fire Safety in medium-risk environments, First Aid, Basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Early Defibrillation (BLSD). From 2022 to 2026, she was a member of the CRS4 Gender Equality Plan Commission. Academic qualifications: Degree in Physics (University of Cagliari, 1995) with an experimental dissertation in collaboration with CRS4 entitled “LibLab: an interactive application for teaching physics”; Master’s degree in Science Communication (SISSA, Trieste, 1999) with an experimental thesis in collaboration with CRS4 entitled: “A virtual journey through Sardinia’s mining region”. He has taught courses at the University of Cagliari (“Computer Science Laboratory” and “The Image in Science Communication”), for the Order of Journalists, at various training institutions and in schools (acting, making, storytelling, public speaking).
