CRS4 and Boeing established a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and Proprietary Information Agreement (PIA) pertaining to the real-time display of very large 3D commercial airplane models, for 3 years from May 1, 2004 – April 30, 2007. Under this agreement, CRS4 has access to full 777 CAD data for research purposes. The research goal is the development of multiresolution techniques for displaying such data in real-time on commodity graphics platforms.
