Franco is a Technologist for the HPCN group. He has 20 years of experience in computing, having been working with several informatics architectures, from IBM Mainframe VM-ESA/9000 to RISC-6000 machines with AIX (UNIX) operative systems, from Helwett Packard HP-UX to Windows, MacOS and Silicon graphics. He has been in charge of Opus-ISDN and Ericsson MD110 systems and VoIP based tecnologies. He has a long experience as Storage System (Library) manager. He joined HPCN group in 2009 with duties of parallel computing cluster management aimed at best set up both cluster’s hardware and software. The main task is to provide users with a range of extremely powerful and reliable computational resources: capacity, availability and high performances.
