Thursday, October 29th a virtual seminar to present the results of the COMISAR project (Cultivation of Sardinian Microalgal Strains) will take place.
The project, led by CINSA (Interdepartmental Center of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, University of Cagliari), is performed in collaboration with CRS4 and with the involvement of 18 companies in the local area. The event will be held from 3 PM on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The aim of the project was the identification of new products based on autochthonous microalgae to be proposed on different strategic markets: nutraceuticals, cosmetics, agro-food, environmental technologies.
To this purpose, different algal strains have been characterized, identifying the characteristics and the most suitable soils for their cultivation.
The project was implemented through the program "Top-down cluster actions" promoted by the regional agency Sardegna Ricerche and funded by POR FESR Sardegna 2014-2020.
