The Open Media Center Lab is a project involved into the activities of the Distretto ICT promoted by Sardegna Ricerche, which is devoted to facilitate communication between research institution and enterprises. He got a Laurea degree in Physics from the University of Cagliari (Italy). He spent about one year at the Facult\u00e9s Universitaires de Namur (Belgium) as a postdoctoral fellow in the area of computer graphics. There he developed software for 3D molecular visualization. He also taught graduate and post-graduate courses in computer graphics and Internet applications. His current research interests include distributed applications, programming paradigms for multi-device user interfaces, mobile and intelligent agents. Application domains include ecommerce, touristic applications, and cultural heritage management.
