{"id":19689,"date":"2025-07-03T18:23:52","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T16:23:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crs4.it\/projects\/tourrenia\/"},"modified":"2026-04-02T12:37:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T10:37:28","slug":"tourrenia","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/www.crs4.it\/en\/projects\/tourrenia\/","title":{"rendered":"TOURRENIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The TOURRENIA project, a French and Italian acronym for Tourisme R\u00e9seaux Niches Accessibles \u2013 Turismo Reti Nicchie Accessibili, funded by the Coastal  Italy and France Transfrontier Maritime Cooperation Program, involve CRS4 as  technology partner and four municipalities: Palau (Sardinia), Portovenere  (Liguria), Forte dei Marmi (Tuscany), and Bastia (Corsica). The main objective of  the TOURRENIA project is to better interrelate tourism supply and demand and  to facilitate the local territory management from a sustainable and accessible tourism point of view. In the project particular attention has been given to take into account the  accessibility of places and resources, for people with motor disability and  disability. He got a degree in Computer Science at the University of Pisa in 1997.The scopes of research is on GIS (Geographical Information System)  related technologies with particular reference to the treatment of environmental data and their correlation with data of other kinds. Uses and develops mainly open source software. She held several short courses on GIS and has been tutor\/co-advisor for degree and Ph.D thesis, Master and Post-Doc stage. In the 1992 she attended the post-graduated courses: Hydrological Modelling of Flow and Pollution in Dry Regions at the Jacob Blaustein International Center (BIC) for Desert Studies of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.   \t \t \t \t \tHer research interests are focused on the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology.
