The objective of the DEPRIN project is to develop a research that combines the theoretical models underlying the documents management tools (Document Management Systems, Business Process Management and Business Intelligence, Enterprise Resource Planning, etc..) with the existing identification, tracking, and location tools (from Radio-frequency identification (RFID) to mobile phones).The scope of the industrial research project is to realize an \u201cinformation management tool\u201d. This product will enable the combined management of all the methods\/procedures involved in control interaction instances and tracking of physical objects. It will allow, through the use of a single \u201cdashboard\/instrument panel\u201d, to link devices for both acquisition of information and remote controls, by a normalized layer of connection, by means of the tools offered by the extended architecture of the solution, i.e. the semantic platform, the business process management tools, the business intelligence ones, and so on. After developing several strategic projects within the Sardinian Region IT infrastructures, and subsequently serving as Director General of Innovation and IT Security for the Sardinia Region, with the responsibility for the Digital Transition, and chairing the Unified Coordination and Monitoring Committee for Ultra-Broadband, he is currently working on issues related to technology transfer to businesses and public administrations.
