At the IHG he managed NGS data analysis applications for research and diagnostics. In the clinical field he acquired a strong experience as software developer, in process control, and in quality management, contributing to the ISO15189 certification of the Institute as a diagnostic laboratory, covering laboratory processes and the bioinformatic analyses developed in house. He is responsible of the development of the open source software EVAdb, for the clinical interpretation of the variants from human genomes and exomes and RNAseq.
