Position: Researcher


Giovanni Delussu is a researcher in the Renewable Energy (RE) group at the CRS4. He holds a Laurea (MSc) degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the "Politecnico di Torino" (1993). Afterwards he worked in the Italian Air Force as officer to ground equipment aircraft maintenance. He joined the CRS4 in 1996. He has worked in many fields from algorithms for mesh generation to sail aerodynamics, from boat hydrodynamics to combustion. Recently worked on concentrated solar power (CSP) systems for efficiently collecting the energy from the sun. Currently is writing software to solve big data problems within the hadoop framework.
