Far Voxels: Interactive inspection of the Richtmyer-Meshkov simulation isosurface dataset. Real-time inspection of the full resolution isosurface of the mixing interface of two gases from the Gordon Bell Prize winning simulation of a Richtmyer-Meshkov instability in a shock tube experiment (472M triangles). The image is approximated using 4.2M voxels and 137K triangles. Data is presented at 1px resolution on a 640x480 controlled by a NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT graphics board.
