Layered Point Clouds: Richtmyer Meshkov isosurface rendering. Point-based rendering of the full resolution isosurface of the mixing interface of two gases from the Gordon Bell Prize winning simulation of a Richtmyer-Meshkov instability in a shock tube experiment. The model consists of over 234M sample points extracted from a 2048x2048x1920 8bit grid.
