Lidia Leoni is the director of High Performance Computing and Networks (HPCN) group at the Center for Advanced Studies, Research, and Development in Sardinia (CRS4), Italy. She has won a European study grant and frequented with success a triennial course in computer science and remote sensing. Prior to joining CRS4, she worked as a system and network administrator at the Consorzio Ricerche Sardegna (CORISA), Servizio Agrometeorologico Regionale per la Sardegna (SAR) and a lot of other consultations with different institutions and firms. Her twenty years experience spaces from the use of big systems, to the application development , to the management and maintenance of networks, systems and services for the users. As a responsible of the HPCN group, She is involved in several CRS4 projects and she gives her contributions to help other researchers in their jobs. She is responsible for the Centre's computer infrastructure and manages the budget on purchases of computer center .
