Alessandro Sulis
Graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Cagliari in 2003, he successively took a II level Master in Information Technology,
at the Center of Excellence CEFRIEL in Milan, where he worked from 2004 to 2006 for Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A; this work involved Buisness
Intelligence and the development of the Open Source Business Intelligence platform SpagoBI. He works at CRS4 since 2007, as a technologist of the
Healthcare Flows Group, involved on different research projects about biomedical and clinical engineering, applied to real clinical contexts,
like Azienda Ospedaliera Brotzu of Cagliari, and to industrial projects, including those focused on traceability in healthcare, in partnership with Inpeco,
a company leader in clinical laboratory automation.
Currently he is working on clinical systems interoperability, following the main standards and best practices; he strictly collaborates with the reference
organizations (IHE and HL7 international): in particular, he is a member of the IHE PaLM (Pathology and Laboratory Medicine) domain Technical Committee.
