This workshop will deal with requirements and challenges related to ICT and bioinformatics tools that will need to be satisfied and addressed in the next 10 years to cope with the avalanche of data that will be produced.
This workshop is the first of a series that will create the catalogue of the needs and major challenges for NGS in ICT and bioinformatics.
The event will be held on June 6th, 2013, at Polaris Science and Technology Park (Pula, Cagliari, Italy).
The workshop is organized by CRS4, LifeGlimmer, University of Amsterdam, CNR Bari and supported by SeqAhead and Sardegna Ricerche.
