CRS4, under the National Program "Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro” (work-linked training) is hosting three students from the istituto "Buccari - Marconi" (Cagliari) for a week-long educational internship, from May 14th to 18th, 2018.
Giuseppe Simone Curreli, Eugenio Figos and Alberto Napoli, are Prof. Giovanni Antonio Fadda’s students.
The work-linked training will take place under Paolo Sirigu’s guidance (an Expert Technologist of the Natural Interaction and Knowledge Management technology program, CRS4). The general objectives of the experience is to measure the energy footprint related to students transportation to and from school, through direct and indirect measurements. To this scope, they will use microcontrollers, and their related sensors and actuators.
This experience is part of both the "Alternanza Scuola Lavoro" program and the IoT DESIR project (Internet of Things per una Didattica nell'Educazione con Scuola, Impresa e Ricerca), coordinated by Carole Salis. The project involves 12 higher education institutions distributed around the whole Sardinian territory. Its main objectives are to facilitate inter-institutional cooperation on the territory, analyse, develop and test Internet of Things Scenarios based on problem solving skills.
