The CRS4 Next Generation Sequencing Core of Biosciences sector organizes the "Next Generation Sequencing in Clinical Oncology Practice" conference in collaboration with Sardegna Ricerche, the Agency for Research and Technology Development in Sardinia, and with the sponsorship of AIOM (Associazione Italiana di Oncologia Medica) and SIGU (Società Italiana di Genetica Umana). The conference aims to spread the potential of the latest genomic technologies available at the Next Generation Sequencing laboratory located at the Sardinian Technology Park, Pula (CA) and which can contribute to the development of the biomedical sector both in basic research and in clinics, greatly increasing the potential of genetic testing to reach the diagnosis of disease.
The conference is addressed to clinicians, laboratory technicians, biologists, pharmacists and students and intends to provide an introduction to the next generation sequencing and the potentialities of this method, in particular for diagnosis and follow-up of Oncologic patients.
