The Visual Computing (ViC) group of CRS4 has recently published in the Computer Graphics Forum journal a state of the art on 3D reconstruction of indoor structures, presented in May 2020 at the international conference Eurographics/EuroVis 2020 (this year online).
This work, carried out in collaboration with the University of Zurich and the CNR of Pisa, was presented by Giovanni Pintore and Enrico Gobbetti with the title: State-of-the-art in Automatic 3D Reconstruction of Structured Indoor Environments.
The presentation is made publicly available by the editors on YouTube.
On the basis of these results Giovanni Pintore, Enrico Gobbetti and the other co-authors will present a course on the same subject at Siggraph 2020, the main computer graphics international event, which will also be held in virtual form in the second half of August 2020.
