CRS4 at Digital Heritage 2015

The Visual Computing group of CRS4 will contribute with four presentations to Digital Heritage 2015 (Granada, Spain, 28 September - 2 October 2015), the major international scientific event for the dissemination and exchange of cutting-edgescientific knowledge on theoretical, generic and applied areas of digital heritage. Novel methods for the automated analysis of large collections of manuscripts, developed in collaboration with Yale University, will be the topic of a full paper and a short paper in the "Digitization and Acquisition" conference track, while scalable technology for the exploration of complex 3D artifacts in museums and on mobile devices will be introduced in a full paper in the "Computer Graphics and Interaction" track. Finally, the aims of the new EU H2020 project Scan4Reco will be discussed in an invited presentation at the workshop on "The Role of Similarity in the Re-unification, Re-assembly and Re-association of 3D Artefacts". Presentations will be delivered by Ruggero Pintus and Marco Agus.
